After three months in Hawaii & two months in the Philippines it was hard to leave and it made me want to come back right away. While i was doing my DTS i heard of a secondary school called SOME (School Of Missions and Evangelism) it sounded awesome. If i loved my DTS why wouldn’t i love the SOME.. right? So i told everyone i was coming back and said that i was 100% sure of it. Then i got home, and i started to question it. Why do i want to come back? Is it me? Is it God? Honestly I was scared. I started thinking of all the reasons i shouldn’t go back, my friends won’t be there, it won’t be the same, its me who wants to go not God. While i was filling out my application my mom reminded of Jeremiah 29:11. It was the perfect timing, this verse reminded me to trust in the Lord and to know that he has great plans for me. So for me this is a big step in my walk with Christ, I am learning to trust him more and more each day.
So, today i have made the decision to send in my application for SOME.
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
